This has been a record-breaking year for community fundraising in the Post-Graduate Public Relations Program here at Loyalist. Last semester, students raised more than $15,000 for the United Way of Quinte with its first-ever Campus Truckload Sale.
For the fifth consecutive year, the Post-Graduate Public Relations students of Loyalist College hosted a free community workshop series for members of the non-profit community this past week.
Big thanks to the ten professional communicators who made this year's Speed Networking event such a great success here in Loyalist PR.

What a great time last night at the Quinte Spring Tweet-Up! Held at the Winchester Arms in Belleville, more than 50 local tweeters turned out to meet up and get to know one another.
Yesterday's News Canada Breakfast & Idea Exchange at the Fairfield Marriott Inn & Suites in Belleville attracted more than 85 professional communicators from the Quinte region and beyond.
