Award-winning PR specialist visits Loyalist

Loyalist PR students and faculty would like to express their sincere gratitude to Diana Degan of Diana Degan & Associates for today's in-class presentation and case study.

Diana's company was named by IABC Toronto as the 2010 Independent-Small Agency of the Year -- the third year in a row she has claimed the honour.

Her firm's campaigns have received multiple awards for excellence, and she is a wonderful classroom presenter as well.

Now that we have her "secret formula" for success, we look forward to applying Diana's thoughtful life principles in our own careers.

Slam poet delivers explosive writing workshop to Loyalist PR students

Loyalist PR students would like to thank Greg "Ritallin" Frankson for his amazing slam poetry workshop yesterday here at Loyalist College.

The workshop went hand-in-hand with our other recent creative and problem-solving workshops, and inspired us all to be "more ourselves and less afraid."

Market researcher visits Loyalist PR

Big thanks to Quadra Research President Ellen Cooper who visited Loyalist PR students today to offer valuable insight on the qualitative research process.

With so many client projects in the works this semester, Ellen offered students many helpful hints and techniques for refining focus group research, among other approaches.

Free workshop series offers communication training to non-profit organizations

Now in its fifth year, "Can You Hear Us Now?" is a series of FREE community media workshops kicking off on Thursday, March 17th at Loyalist College in Belleville, Ontario.

Aimed at informing non-profit organizations in the greater Quinte area about the latest communications trends and tools, "Can You Hear Us Now?" has drawn hundreds of attendees over the years.
