Thought of the day: "Be the buffalo!"

Yes, you read that right. Be the buffalo!

Did you know that when a storm is approaching, a dairy cow will turn and run?

But when a buffalo faces the same situation, it charges directly into the storm -- and straight through it.

When conflict or challenge comes in our lives, we need to face it head-on, not duck, run or hide. By doing so, we can get through the storm quicker and move on with our lives.

Are you facing a tough situation today? If so, what are you waiting for?

Be the buffalo!

Good advice - sometimes I think that if i had been forced to do things i didn't want to do as a child, I might find things less daunting as an adult.

I am going to be a BUFFALO for the rest of my life. The more challenging the greater the reward.

I still love this little thought. I first read it months ago and I still remember it today. Now, I always try to face my challenges like the buffalo. No more cowing around for me.

I love this quote. I came across it when I was debating registering for this program. A spot had opened up and I realized I could continue with my career as is, or I could 'be the buffalo' and take the year to improve my skills. As someone who is often prone to 'paralysis by analysis', I'm going to keep this quote in mind from now on!
