Loyalist PR serves it up for United Way!

Combine one eaaaaarly October morning with a handful of Loyalist PR students and a cafeteria full of hungry staff and faculty, and what do you get? A successful FUNdraising event!

Yesterday morning, a hardy group of Post-Grad Public Relations students showed up voluntarily two hours before class time to help out with the annual United Way Pancake Breakfast here at Loyalist.

Even before the sun had risen, more than $1,000 had been raised for this worthy cause.

A big thank you to those students who showed up to help serve, wrap cutlery (!), blow up balloons, make change, sell bracelets and promote the breakfast in the chilly outdoors: Ashley, Alanna, Jami, Nick, Adam, Kristen, Monique, Jess, Chris, Mark and Kelly, you rock!

Congrats also to Loyalist PR alumnus Dan Truman who headed up this event for the college. Way to go, Dan!

Stay tuned for news of Loyalist PR's own "Casino Loyale" class fundraiser scheduled to take place October 15th. You won't want to miss it!
