The dialogue continues on PR metrics
Loyalist PR students enjoyed a visit today from Laura Auquilla Pesantez of News Canada who made a presentation on Media Relations Ratings Points (MRPs).
Discussions on reporting methods, circulation vs. reach and a live demonstration of the system provided students with an opportunity to experience the new PR metrics “software solution” for themselves.
Created by Canadian PR professionals to introduce a standard of PR evaluation and reporting for editorial media coverage, MRP is endorsed by the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS), the International Association of Business Communicators of Canada (IABC), the Canadian Council of Public Relations Firms and News Canada.
