The Post-Grad Public Relations students at Loyalist College are pleased to announce their 2008 Loyalist Community Media Workshop Series to be held this March.
If your non-profit agency is in need of a communications boost, we invite you to join us for one or more of our free, hour-long community workshops the week of March 10-13th.
The workshop schedule is as follows:
Monday, March 10th at 10 a.m. - “Mission: Possible” Review (or create) your organization’s mission statement to ensure it communicates the core purpose of your brand. Room 2L11, Kente Building
Monday, March 10th at 11 a.m. - “What’s Your Position?” Explore your organization’s positioning statement and/or create a targeted tagline that sets your agency apart. Room 2L11, Kente Building
Tuesday, March 11th at 10 a.m. - “Inside the PR Tool Kit” Take stock of the free publicity tools available to your non-profit organization and get tips on using them. Room 2L11, Kente Building
Tuesday, March 11th at 11 a.m. – “Blogging Basics” Create a free web log (blog) to enhance the web presence of your non-profit organization. Room 2H11, Kente Building
Wednesday, March 12th at 1 p.m. – “Podcasting 101” Discover how podcasting can enhance your existing non-profit communications program. Room 2L11, Kente Building
Thursday, March 13th at 10 a.m. - “Speaking Out” Gather essential media interview tips for your organization’s key spokespeople. Room 2L11, Kente Building
Thursday, March 13th at 11 a.m. - “Building Donor Relations” Engage your donors with simple yet sincere relationship-building communication tools. Room 2L11, Kente Building
Thursday, March 13th at noon - “Volunteers for Life” Gain valuable tips for recruiting new volunteers and inspiring loyalty among the ones you already have. Room 2L11, Kente Building
