Welcome to the fish bowl!

A warm welcome to all our new Post-Grad PR students!

As we begin to wade into this new school year, we hope you'll be inspired to do your best work and to advance confidently in the direction of your dreams.

As a faculty team, we're here to help. Let us know what we can do to make your first week as Post-Grad PR students as comfortable as possible (we'll even fluff your pillows!).

Best fishes,
Kerry, Liz and Lisa

Fluff their pillows? Man, I feel a little ripped off, we only got the complimentary peanuts and an inflight meal...

I would love to also welcome the new crop of future PR Practitioners. Do us all proud and blow us all away with innovation, determination, perspiration, and inspiration. I am confidatant that you'll all do well.

Cheers!
Lucy

P.S.
The PR faculty are great!

So looking forward to everything that is to come this year! The first official day of classes was excellent and it's been great getting to know everyone. See all of your smiling faces tomorrow.
P.S. Great quote of the week. So true!!!

I have to agree with Ashley.
Althought we have only really had one day of class, it's everything I had expected, and more.
Looking forward to spending the year with everyone.
Cheers!

Also looking forward to the good times. I saw a picture of some of last years students playing twister in class. That looks nothing short of interesting. I will start stretching now for that opportunity.

First off thanks to Lucy for those encouraging words! Coming from a P.R. Grad .. that means alot!

Just wanted to say how excited I am for this course! There is so much I want to learn or rather I need to learn about the Public Relations world. I really hope to take what I learned in Broadcast Journalism and apply it to PR so one day I can do what I came here to do and that's be media relations for a sports team. The media is such a fascinating world .. so to stick with it would be awesome. Can't wait to get going and get into the good stuff!
See you in class ;)

Hey there Kerry,Liz,Lisa and anyone else brave enough to take on the task of leading this band of P.R. warriors.

This is going to be an action packed ,fun filled(in a FISHY way) year.I hope to not only develop amazing skills ,but create friendships for a lifetime,

Great website. As well, there are plenty of links to creat a spark to even the mildest of persons interested in P.R.

Peace to you all,

Warren

Forgive me for any grammatical errros. My stylebook is still shinkwraped!!

Welcome to the Fish Bowl?

I have to admit I was curious how that was relevant to Public Relations, but it does really seem like this job requires you to live under public scrutiny. Not unlike several small amphibious creatures we keep as pets. That and the FISH video made me laugh even after seeing seven times.

The first day was amazing and so much better than I had worried all summer it was going to be and I cannot wait to see what the rest of the year holds.

See you in class
Robert

PS: This is to prove I can use a blog, so I hope it works.

I know we are only two days into the program, but I’m having a lot of fun already. Any doubts I had about studying PR are gone. I think this is going to be an amazing year!

Hi All!

Although I just moved to Belleville (less than a week ago), I feel very much at home in our little PR classroom! Thanks everyone!!

The previous 7 messages pretty much sum up my current sentiments about our program, so I will simply leave you with one of my favourite quotes.

'I`ve wasted time, now time is wasting me'

My father frequently uses this line, although I am sure that he did not make it up. If you know who the author is, please see me. Regardless, I think it is fitting for our year here at Loyalist and in the field of PR.

slante!

Dear PR Faculty,

You are all awesome people and I'm looking forward to finishing this school year with everyone in the class. I just noticed now that I'm going to have to get out of the MSN lingo, I'm forcing myself to type properly!

Lets hope no one goes belly-up in the fish bowl this year! HAH...I've got to stop making stupid jokes, sorry.

-Nick

p.s- Kerry, I will get that spiderman wallet whether you like it or not!

I feel very content with this fishbowl!

With the first day behind me, I feel that this is where I belong right now in life. Things can only get better from here, right?!

I look forward to working with everyone in the program. Even the assignments have me excited. When we were going over them today in class my mind was going a mile a minute!

I expect big things from this year!

Cheers
